Under Graduate Process

Bachelor of Pharmacy

Admission to the first year of B.Pharm is based on merit, subject to the minimum eligibility criteria mentioned in the information brochure.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities, recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Biology (PCB/PCMB) as subjects. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examinations shall also be considered.

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)

Admission to the second year of B.Pharm is based on merit, subject to the minimum eligibility criteria outlined in the information brochure.

Candidates must have passed a Diploma examination in a programme from a PCI-approved institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the relevant programme.

Bachelor of Hotel Management

Admission to BHMCT is based on merit, subject to the minimum eligibility criteria outlined in the information brochure. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

In addition, the candidate must have passed English as a subject, either core or functional.

Bachelor of Technology

All seats are to be filled as per the norms of the State Government and on the basis of merit, with the minimum eligibility criteria outlined in the information brochure.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship, as per AICTE Process Handbook 2024–2027, Table 8.4 (Agriculture Stream for Agriculture Engineering). Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Note: The first one or two semesters may be designed so that students with Biology / Biotechnology background have adequate courses in Maths and vice versa, after which the class studies at the same level for the remaining semesters.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

Admission to the second year of B.Tech is based on merit, subject to the minimum eligibility criteria outlined in the information brochure.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed:

Option 1: A minimum three-year Diploma examination (or two-year Diploma for lateral entry) with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

OR

Option 2: A B.Sc. degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), and must have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
